No, a drivers license is not required to operate an ebike in New South Wales.
However, to use our services identification is required for each user riding our ebikes. A drivers license may be used as identification.
Users must be 18 years or older.
Users aged between 14 and 18 years of age must be supervised by their legal guardian to use our service.
Younger people who do not meet the above age limits are not legally permitted to ride our shared ebikes.
The same as for standard bicycles.
Bicycle riders in NSW must obey the road rules. They must stop at red lights or stop signs, give way as indicated by road signs and give hand signals when changing direction. Under the Road Rules on the NSW legislation website, a bicycle is considered a vehicle and has the same road rules as other vehicles.

Yes, it is a legal requirement here in New South Wales to wear a helmet when riding a bicycle which includes ebikes. Helmets prevent brain injury and can save your life.
No, we do not deliver to home addresses. Hotels and motels have designated areas for pick up and drop off. The onboarding process of each customer requires a place where we can park for at least 20-30 minutes without being a hazard. Each home address is different and we need to keep it simple to manage costs, and to ensure we abide by local laws.
